Event 201
The first pandemic simulation, called CLADE X, took place at John Hopkins Center for Health Security in Washington DC on 15 May 2018.

It was followed by Event 201 (New York, 18 October 2019), a 3.5-hour tabletop exercise that simulated a series of discussions over response to a hypothetical pandemic.
Sponsored jointly by The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, World Economic Forum, and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this event predicted how the next severe pandemic would cause great illness and loss of life as well as major global economic and societal consequences.
